This is clip from a new project (Summer 2020) I’ve started developing that is showing some decent progress. This is my Monday night project that I can devote a few hours to once a week.
With the exception of the placeholder for the ship, all art and engineering is by yours truly. I’ve been consulting weekly to tap into the expertise of my buddy Matthew Moore who has been contributing significantly to elements of the game design.
I’m currently playing with the player’s transition between a orthographic and perspective cameras that you can see in this clip, although I’m not getting enough parallax happening in the orthographic view. I think I may try layering the cameras, similar to what we did with the cameras in Wayward.
