Sure, I may have gotten slightly carried away with my bird feeder (VR Birdfeeder Studio™). But I’m enjoying the fruits of my labor.

VR Birdfeeder Studio™ now includes the base window bird feeder, my custom VR camera rig, shop lights, diffusion screen (pillow case) and backdrop to prevent eye strain as your eyes try to process both near and far elements.

The whole rig is connected to my PC where OBS combines the images from the two cameras and uses a plugin to automatically start/stop recording when movement is detected. Videos are processed with Adobe Premier before being uploaded to DeoVR (Youtube for stereographic videos).
I’m able to preview the video feed and make adjustments to camera positioning with a Unity project that allows me to quickly switch between pre-recorded video clips and OBS’s streaming camera feed. In Unity, the VR camera feed is applied to the inside of a sphere, mapping the right half of the feed to right eye, and the left have of the feed to the left eye using camera layers.
My videos can be found on my DeoVR channel here:

Or over on Youtube.

And yeah, the initials “VR-BS” are intentional.
