Last week, Champlain College students went head-to-head against the best schools in North America for the Ubisoft Game Lab Competition. The college was represented by a group of game students that had created a game as part of their senior year capstone called, “Quibly Ball”.
Awards
Winners were announced last night and the Quibly Ball team received 5 nominations in various categories and received awards for:
- Best Technical Innovation
- Best Presentation
- And runner up for Best Game
As a result, 3 of the students were awarded placement in Ubisoft’s summer program in Montreal.
Huge congratulations go out to the team members. This is a big deal, and I’m especially proud of the engineering and programming work of Andrew Auclair and Anthony Blake for bringing home the Best Technical Innovation award!
